Long Beach, Calif - In an early morning Pirelli World Challenge practice session, Always Evolving driver, Roger Rodas was sent into the wall after an ABS malfunction in turn 1 on the 1.97 mile street circuit. The damage to the right side of the #52 was beyond track repair. Luckily, Always Evolving teammate, and Hollywood actor, Paul Walker recently purchased an identical Ford Mustang Boss 302S, and agreed to let Rodas use it along side the #75 sister car for Sunday’s race.
Rodas and Walker have been long time friends and teammates, and this year Walker’s foundation, Reach Out Worldwide became the title sponsor for the Always Evolving Pirelli World Challenge race team. Founded in late 2010, Reach Out Worldwide is a rapid relief foundation that dispatches doctors, paramedics and heavy rescue professionals to disaster areas around the globe, providing rescue and recovery to those affected by natural disasters. When asked why he agreed to let Rodas drive his virgin Boss 302, Walker replied, “Reach Out is about helping people when they need it the most. This is Roger’s first Pirelli World Challenge race… how could I say no?”
Because Walker’s car is still fresh off the showroom floor, the Always Evolving team will be working through the night to make sure that it is in full race trim for Sunday’s qualifying. The car may need to undergo some work, but Rodas says he is ready, “Making the step into professional racing is not easy, but I’m excited for tomorrow’s race. The Pirelli World Challenge fans have been overwhelmingly supportive as they stop by the pits, and I’ll get into the car tomorrow with that energy.”

Always Evolving teams up with Reach Out World Wide for the 2013 season of World Challenge! Team Captain and owner of Always Evolving, Roger Rodas, accompanied by Erik Davis of Autotopia form the Always Evolving Race Team for the 2013 Season of Pirelli World Challenge. Rodas, known for racing Porsche Cup Cars has stepped into the new 2013 Ford Racing Boss 302s Mustang. In his previous season of racing in the Pirelli Driver’s Cup Series, Roger took two first place finishes, six podiums, and second place over all. No stranger to Mustangs, Roger’s personal collection of cars consists of a wide assortment of limited production Saleen and Shelby Mustangs. His collection has become the heart of Always Evolving, a dealer of high end luxury and sports cars, performance and service shop, and Race Team.
In the #75 Boss 302S is Erik Davis, President of RT Specialty Insurance Services Los Angeles and avid car collector from Southern California. Racing had always been Erik’s calling. Starting from a young age, Davis had begun racing BMX and Motocross which naturally progress into racing Ford GTs, Porsche Cup Cars and Boxsters in various SCCA and POC events. Erik’s car collection, properly named Autotopia for its unbelievable assortment of both American muscle cars and exotics, had inspired Davis to combine his love of cars with the rush that only comes from racing.
We are proud to announce that we will be representing Reach Out World Wide this season. ROWW was founded by Actor/Producer Paul Walker while he was part of a relief team responding to the devastating earthquakes in Haiti. Walker had seen the need for skilled professionals and resources, thus ROWW was born. ROWW is a network of volunteer first responders who are experts in their individual fields, consisting of heavy equipment operators, paramedics, firefighters and healthcare
specialists. Paul Walker, a race car driver in his own right, and Ford Racing Boss 302s owner, has come to us to spread awareness for his disaster relief organization.
Very special thanks goes out to all of our sponsors for the upcoming 2013 season: Reach Out Worldwide, The Asomugha Foundation, Autotopia, Merrill Lynch, Ohlins, Saleen, Kona Red, and Swift Springs. More to come from the Always Evolving Team as we prepare for the rest of the season.
